I forgot that they moved it to Saturday night in the 80/81 season.
It never worked and the music was dreadful.

Absolute QUAGMIRE.......how many goals would the majestic Trev have got if he played on todays pitches.....he would have glided with the ball past everyone week in week out.....then was Devonshire.....maybe this was why we always came down with the christmas decorations?

That FA cup game in 1975 against QPR I will never forget. Got a serious kicking at Finsbury Park train station from Arsenal after the game. Ended up in QEII hospital in WGC with 5 fractured ribs and a dislocated shoulder. Cunts

Mud and more mud but still Brooking turning on a sixpence and did notice Best was the no.12 but had nothing to do in the final,did we sell him on?
That Q.P.R Dave Thomas was a great player skipping over Billy's chopping legs in the mud.
Saw a sad piece about him on sky sports last year how his eye sight was going from a eye disorder he had about 10% left at the time .

Where did all them years go.
I was in the chicken run Upper stuck with a load of Villa supporters who were gobbing off until tonka took that penalty.
One of the best atmospheres at the old gaff.
